Back away from the menu.

The FDA would like restaurants to change their menus.

The report encourages restaurants to shift the emphasis of their marketing to lower-calorie choices, and include more such options on menus. In addition, restaurants could jigger portion sizes and the variety of foods available in mixed dishes to reduce the overall number of calories taken in by diners.

Is this not already happening? McDonalds offers both microwaved horse burgers as well as fake salad.

I wonder how many tax dollars went to fund this report?

jigger? it’s words like that in reports that make the funding woth it.

That could be AP’s wording. Although this adds doubt to that… “Government officials, scholars, industry representatives and consumer advocates contributed to the report.”
