Congrats to the US for leaving Iraq in much better shape as a civilization than you found it. I pray that you would do the same in Afghanistan. Oh and if you could do something about the crazy in Iran that would help too.

In addition, officials said, al Soofi was found to be carrying $7,000 in cash and a check of his luggage found a cell phone taped to a Pepto-Bismol bottle, three cell phones taped together, several watches taped together, a box cutter and three large knives. British and French ministries aren’t commenting on a British newspaper’s report that France will send an additional 1,000 troops to Afghanistan.

Liberal defence critic Denis Coderre told CTV’s Newsnet that he believes the French troops will go to eastern Afghanistan to help the Americans.

I went through the whole Liberal Press Release and they didn’t mention even trying to contact MacKay. I guess in their view, putting “Critic:” in front of headlines means they don’t need to provide any balance.
